Free tablets for kids.

Free Tablets for Kids.

That's our vision. We support Clermont County's Agenda For The Future goals for Lifelong Learning: to see that every child enters kindergarten prepared for success in school. Since December, 2016, we have provided free tablets and WOW Pouches to over 500 Clermont County kids. You can help us continue to boost early literacy skills in 2019 and beyond, for around $100 per child.

KLiCWOW is a major undertaking that requires hundreds of volunteer hours. Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy.

Give Donation

This is not a one-year project. We plan to distribute tablets and WOW Pouches through 2018. Your contribution is vital to our success.

We are KLiCWOW, working for children's education.

We are a response to the Agenda for the Future project and share a strong commitment to providing the best educational opportunities for all the children in our Clermont County community.

In conjunction with good parenting, KLiCWOW means to address the significant gap that exists in early childhood education in this community.

Watch the KLiCWOW Film:

Why is early childhood learning so important?

  • The United States ranks 25th in the world in enrollment of 4-year-olds in early learning

  • Ohio is ranked 26th of 51 states & D.C. for per-capita enrollment in preschool

  • 10.2% of persons in Clermont County are living below poverty level

  • Based on current kindergarten enrollment, Clermont has approximately 4,200 children ages 3 and 4

Early education has been shown to increase economic activity twice over.

Every dollar invested in early education can save $7 in long-term costs.

COST per child

A donation of $100 will provide a tablet and a Wow Pouch to a child.

As part of the K-12 education sector, we value preschool programming as our feeder system. It is evident that early literacy and technology skills are critical to providing children a strong foundation during the preschool years on which they can build successful futures.

My son, Lucas, received a tablet last April at your tablet distribution at Crossroads. I just wanted to let you know how much he’s enjoyed using it. He’s been able to play the letter/number games in addition to the learning activities I plan for him. I feel like it has really helped reinforce what we’re working on at home. It was such a fantastic opportunity for him to receive a free tablet. I just wanted to reach out with some feedback. Hope you’re enjoying your summer.”
